ALLERGY INFORMATION
NO MSG. We do not use any products which contain MSG nor do we add MSG when preparing our meals.
PEANUTS: We have peanuts on the premises as a topping for our meals. Also, the Z-nut sauce is a peanut based sauce. If you have a peanut allergy, please let us know when you order so we can make sure we don't get any of the peanut sauce close to your meal.
SOY: Despite the fact that we are a teriyaki based restaurant (thus, soy sauce is one of our main ingredients) ... believe it or not ... we have been able to serve customers who have allergies to soy! They usually order the Veggie Bento (a pile of fresh steamed veggies served on rice or noodles). For a sauce, they either choose our Zen sauce or get a side of either rice vinegar or balsamic vinegar.
Depending on the level of soy allergy, some of our customers have been able to enjoy our meats (all of which have been marinated with soy sauce), but they choose our non soy-based sauce like the Zen or Kamikaze. Some customers have been able to enjoy our Bonzai sauce, however this is made with a soy bean oil.
WHEAT GLUTEN: Our soy sauce contain wheat flour. Our yakisoba noodles are a wheat based noodle.
CORN STARCH: All our sauces are thickened with corn starch.
